For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord,
as the waters cover the sea.
Habakkuk 2:14

What does God want to see accomplished through the prayers of His people-the church? How is God calling you to pray? How is prayer a vital part of God's eternal plan? (John 14:12-14)

It's all about renewal and revival. It's about repentance. It's about completing the work that Jesus began to do during His time on the earth. It's about fulfilling God's desire to restore fallen man to a right relationship with Himself. It's about seeing all men saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:4) It's about establishing Christ's kingdom on the earth. It's about the glory of God filling the whole earth. (Isaiah 66:18) It's about God using us to bless the world.

Is God's will done on the earth as it is in heaven? Are there people who don't know Christ? Is God glorified throughout the whole earth? Is there a need for repentance, renewal and revival in the world? Will you be a part of bringing Christ's reign to the earth? Will you let Him reign in you? Will you pray for God to fulfill His promises regarding His Kingdom all over the earth? Will you pray and let God use you to bring to others the love, mercy, joy, peace, forgiveness and grace that He has given to each of us? Will you pray so that we will see His glory cover the whole earth?

Prayer is not a one day event, but events such as the Global Day of Prayer will show you how to pray at any time for:

The transforming power of Christ's kingdom Sustained movements of united prayer
God to pour out His Spirit upon all
Many to turn from sin to new life in Christ Relationships to be transformed
God's purpose for families and children
The nations to hear the voice of God
Christ's glory in the faithful courage of His people Christ to bring substantial healing
Promised blessing among all peoples

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all. Amen. (Revelation 22:21)
