Brethren, my heart's desire and my prayer to God for them is for their salvation. Romans 10:1

Salvation is a divine work of God in an individual's life. No one can come to faith in Jesus Christ unless God draws them (John 6:44, 45). Paul demonstrated that an important and not to be overlooked part in bringing a person to the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is prayer to God for their salvation.

Who do you know that has not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior? Will you pray daily for God to save them? Use the following scriptures as prayer starters.

Now the parable is this: the seed is the word of God. "Those beside the road are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their heart, so that they will not believe and be saved. (Luke 8:11,12) Pray that God will not allow Satan to snatch away the Word that is planted in their heart.

being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart; (Eph 4:18) Pray that God will soften their hard heart.

"Lord, circumcise their heart so that they love you" (Deut 30:6). Pray that God will give them a new believing heart.

"Father, open their eyes so that they believe the gospel" (Acts 16:14). Pray that Satan will not be allowed to blind them to the truth.

For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death. (2 Cor 7:10) Pray that God will grant them godly sorrow that leads to repentance.

"Lord, grant them repentance and a knowledge of the truth that they may escape from the snare of the devil" (2 Tim 2:25-26). Pray that God will set them free from the bondage of sin.

"For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies," declares the Lord GOD. "Therefore, repent and live." (Ezekiel 18:32) Pray that they will repent of their sin and be saved.

Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God; (Rev 19:1) "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." (Matt 19:26) Therefore, pray to God for salvation for those you know who are not yet part of His kingdom.
